Questions
What is YouTube’s title limit?
100 characters hard limit — but search results show roughly the first 60–70. Put the words that matter inside the first 60.
Can I use the full 100 characters?
You can, but the tail is invisible in search and suggested. A title that reads complete at 60 characters beats a 100-character one with the keyword at the end.
Does title length affect ranking?
Not directly — no documented length bonus exists. The practical effect is click-through: a truncated title loses the words the searcher needed to see.
