Questions
Does YouTube still have RSS feeds?
Yes — every channel and playlist exposes an Atom feed at youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml. It is undocumented but stable and what most feed readers use.
Does the feed use the channel ID or the @handle?
The feed URL keys off the channel ID — the UC… string — or a playlist ID. Give the generator the channel or playlist and it emits the correct videos.xml link.
Does the feed include Shorts and live streams?
It lists new uploads as entries, Shorts included. It is a notification list rather than an archive — a reader only sees entries published after it subscribed.
