Revenue Per View Calculator

The value of a single view, and how many views add up to a real amount.

Pick a niche for its RPM range, or enter your own RPM.

One view is worth
0.400¢ – 1.000¢
Views needed for $1,000Fewer views at the high RPM, more at the low RPM
100.0K – 250.0K

How it is computed: one view is worth RPM ÷ 1,000. Views for the target are target ÷ RPM × 1,000, computed at both ends of the range.

Questions

Is a single view really worth fractions of a cent?

At typical RPMs, yes — a view is worth about a tenth to half a cent. Revenue only becomes meaningful in aggregate, which is exactly what the calculator shows.

Does every view earn the same amount?

No — the per-view figure is an average. Views from high-CPM countries, on longer videos with mid-rolls, or in Q4 earn more than the mean the calculator shows.

How many views does $1,000 take?

Divide 1,000 by your per-view rate — at a $4 RPM, about 250,000 views. The calculator runs the division in both directions.
